What happens to my links if I cancel Pro?
They keep working. You drop to the Free tier limits, so any links beyond 50 active become read-only and follow the 45-day inactivity policy. Your existing slugs are not released until they actually go inactive.
Why do free links expire?
To keep good slugs in circulation. If a free user grabs trakl.app/coffee and never uses it, that slug should return to the pool so someone else can. Paid tiers get longer windows because you are paying for stability.
What does 'fair-use clicks' mean?
If you stay under the included number, nothing happens. Above that we may reach out about an enterprise plan. Your links will not just stop working mid-month; we will always contact you first.
Will the launch pricing actually go up?
Yes, eventually, for new customers as we add features. For you: subscribe today and your rate is locked for 24 months from your first paid month. We will not raise your rate during that window. After 24 months you renew at then-current pricing (or any lower rate we offer). We give at least 30 days notice before any change.
Can I switch tiers later?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and we prorate the difference. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
